Plasma tip is a consumable tip used in CB50 plasma cutting torches. The tip is one of the crucial components of the torch that comes into direct contact with the workpiece during the cutting process. The 1.2mm diameter specification indicates the size of the orifice in the tip through which the plasma arc is directed. Orifice size determines the width of the plasma arc and consequently, the cutting capacity and speed. Typically used for precision cutting of thinner materials. Regular inspection, cleaning and replacement of the tip are necessary to maintain cutting quality and prevent premature wear or damage.
